Example Calculation:

If a user applies for a loan of TZS 800,000 with a term of 92 days and an annual interest rate of 9.12%, the following calculations apply:

• Daily Interest Rate: 9.12% / 365 = 0.025%
• Interest for 92 Days: TZS 800,000 x 0.025% x 92 = TZS 18,400
• Origination Fee: TZS 800,000 x 0.2% = TZS 1,600
• Total Repayment: TZS 800,000 + TZS 18,400 + TZS 1,600 = TZS 820,000
